  • shaved head day

Hi everyone, I've shaved my head today again. I'm one of those people who looks better with a shaved head than with hair, and I'm modest:-)

Went into town yesterday, when I say "town" I actually mean the city centre and not going into town from some leafy little country cottage which overlooks the mountains that's to beautiful to put into words:-) I bought 2 pairs of jeans, some khakis and a top. Jeans weren't as loose fit as I usually like them but hopefully they'll be allright. Also did some more sketching while I was there.

It was the 1st day of Ramadan yesterday when muslims fast for a month. It's a great time which brings all muslims and their families closer together especially the BIG celebration at the end. The fasting went well yesterday and so far today has gone well to. Long may it continue.

Bye, not for ever just till tommorrow.

  • Writing.

Stalling cars, traffic flowing much faster possible, life's overcoming, there is light and space, a loving hum of an expectant bulge. A child's laugh, joy from it all. Peaceful love and decency, goodness in for real. Streaks, yellow of colour on railings, bronzelike rennaisance sculpters. A redness to the firebell. Wood doors granite like, coarse welcoming. Table top with literature, "cycling and walking", "It pays to get ahead", for the community leisure activities. Everyones's community. Allah's existence. Take pleasure in the creators creation. Breathing clean air, watching nature.

Will be going to read "jumma" namaz soon. Friday prayers. Looking forward to it, will be enjoyable. I like gathering with other muslims to pray, especially in these times, I feel love and dignity coming from all.

I believe the answer to Islamic extremism is in the Quran. Surely education, understanding and respect are the only way forward. I think it's about time the world's majority of people who belive this led the way more vocally. Where have all the peacefull leaders gone?

Strumming my chords, loving my life, happy thoughts, smiles on every face, sunshine is for everyone, Islam on my mind, love in the air. Every thought clear every breath air, happiness.

  • The pidgeon and it's wise nature.

The pidgeon was very clever. Landing quickly it ate all the bird seed and then stayed for it knew the time.
For on Jane's watch was the time.
    20 miniutes after breakfast.
    Bread desert was due.
    "YumYum."

Definetly not the best I've everwritten but I hope enjoyable nonetheless.

  • United Nations.

I'd like the UN to get involved in Darfur, Sudan and help the people who are currently suffering. Surely the UN can't let things continue. Peace must be restored and safety brought to the people who need it most. It's no good waiting for the Sudanese government to call for help when so many lives are at stake, the UN must actively ask the Sudanese government and not stop asking. Surely a military presence to protect the Sudanese people must be sent and maybe people from the Sudanese military and preferably government sent to the attackers camps to educate them and let them know that killing and genocide are wrong, especially when it involves fellow muslims. It shouldn't be hard. All it requires is the Quran and good negotiation skills.

    Peace and love to all.

I'm of to the city centre to do some sketching. I'm going to see what I can get in:-)

  • Laughing

Jokes aren't the only thing that make us laugh. Happiness while spending time with family and friends, taking pleasure in their lives and joy also make us laugh and smile. Having a positive outlook and encouraging others to live in accordance with their religion or culture is a good way to cultivate this kind of friendship. I think it's more positive than laughing at misfortune that happens to others. Having a positive outlook and encouraging life always.

I wish all of us dignity, respect, happiness, calmness, joy and health.

There are some beautiful gardens here. I've been enjoying them alot over the past few months. I hope it continues, I love the variety especially. Different types of plants, trees and hedges. Like I said really beautiful, vibrant and colourfull. I only hope I can do them justice in my artwork.

Autumn reminds me of the colour of the trees in New England. I've never been but the photos and my imagination of all that orange and yellow makes me feel good. Americans call it "fall" instead of autumn. It sounds nice but I like the sound of autumn aswell.

  • Pleasant yesterday morning.

I spent a good part of yesterday practicing self hypnosis, listening to the sounds of the garden and daily life around me while I breathed and thought positive. I feel much better today as a result. Woke up, had a shower, did "wuzu" and read the Qu'ran today, sometimes it's beauty amazes me. I have a moroccoan friend who translated some for me from Arabic and it was truly wonderfull and touching.

After reading about Tom Cruise's apology I'd like to say hypnosis is a great cure and a vital part of life for anyone but some people don't recognise this and seek other therapeautic help, such as medicine. This is acceptable if not preferable but the first form of therapy should always be hypnotherapy. I feel people should be educated on this compassionatly and respectfully.

  • gardening and Van Gough

I'm drawing birds right now. Some sketches. They look quite good and improving. Writing too about peace, love, happiness, decency, self respect and sanity. Keep thinking positive all the time. The trees through the drizzle are nice, the flowers in the sun are bright and glorious. Even the shapes of the leaves are nice. I love Van Gough's paintings and am thinking about growing some sunflowers myself, it'll be my first ever spot of proper gardening if I do.
