I've been reading alot of comics lately and loving it. The best medium going, yup better than film, books, stand up. The lot. I started of with Beano and Dandy when I was young and as I got older I started reading Marvel, DC, Manga and small press indie comics. I love em and would reccommend a good one to anyone. Currently I'm reading One Piece, it's a pirate manga full of laughs, action, adventure and a great story with mysterious characters. Really funny too. It's sold 65 million copies and I can see why.

Akira and Domu are my two favourite comics of all time. I think Otomo's really out of this world. The pacing and the size and content of each and every panel in Akira is something else. There's so much going on artisticly it just blows me away. The bike riding scene at the start of the story is an amazing piece of action better than any film I've ever scene.-

I'm with you on the comics. I've been reading alternative american comics for many years. Not so sure about the Manga stuff though.
